She holds a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a Master’s in Human Resource Management both from Strayer University, Chesapeake, Virginia. She has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Norfolk State University, Norfolk, Virginia. She has over 20 years of experience in the business management field, including finance, payroll, and human resources. Additionally, she has over 10 years of teaching experience in a wide array of
business, accounting, finance, and career development courses and has held administrative roles as the Business Program Coordinator, and Campus Director of Education. She has experience in curriculum development, performance appraisals, and outcomes reporting.
She was employed with Centura College, Allied Health, and Trades since 2013. During that time, she received the “Instructor of the Year for the Business Program” in 2014. She has also received the “Employee of the Month” in May of 2014 in recognition of her exceptional performance, innovative contributions, and dedication, “Employee of the Quarter” in 2018 for outstanding service and dedication and finally “Campus Director of the Year”, 2021. Her role while serving as Director of Education, she was primarily accountable for the educational integrity of all educational programs with focus on curriculum, instructor development, and instructional resources and institutional improvements. She communicated with the Corporate Education Department and attended monthly Education Meetings to ensure that all instructor and faculty training were conducted in accordance with accreditation standards.
